How I Quit Smoking Diary

The first day

Today is the day. Not the day that I become a non-smoker but the first day that I will be a non-smoking smoker.

Getting through the first week is always a tough thing. I actually find any time period divisible by 3 to be tough...

October 1 - Running the Gauntlet

October 1 - Running the Gauntlet.

I never knew what a challenge it would be just to leave the office. As a smoker I never gave a second thought to lighting up outside the office door. Now that I am trying to quit getting out of the office is a totally different experience.

Exercise and Smoking

I will start exercising when I quit smoking. How many times did I tell myself that?

Lots of people will actualy tell you the opposite - use exercise as a tool to help motivate you to quit!

Falling off the wagon

I bet that you are wondering why it has been so long since there was a diary entry. Well to be honest - I thought that I had better quit smoking again before writing another entry!
